South Windsor, Conn.- Ronnie West has joined Gerber Coburn as a sales representative in the company’s professional sales group. He reports directly to Jay Cohen, director of professional sales, and will oversee the sales activities associated with the company’s growing retail product line. His territory covers the southeastern sections of the United States, including Georgia, South Carolina, eastern Tennessee and Alabama and the western panhandle of Florida. “Ronnie is responsible for all aspects of selling new and existing products, consumables, and ancillary products into retail laboratories,” said Cohen. “But more importantly, he will directly interface with customers to identify industry trends, address individual lab needs, and provide integrated product and service solutions.” In announcing West’s appointment, Cohen noted that he is an industry veteran who brings over 30 years of experience to Gerber Coburn. Prior to joining Gerber, West was the principal owner of Wilson Optical Products, an ophthalmic equipment and supply company, located in the greater Atlanta area. Ronnie’s background also includes extensive employment stays with Essilor Instruments, a southeastern wholesale lab, and AIT Industries. “We’re thrilled that Ronnie has joined Gerber Coburn,” Cohen stated.
